Another thing that you want to decide before deciding on an inpatient rehab is what amenities that you want. There are plenty of them to choose from. Amenities are useful features or perks. Many people choose a rehab based on amenities and the therapies that they offer. Some of the common amenities are:
- pools and exercise equipment
- music and art therapy
- pet and equine therapy
- gourmet food and chefs
- laundry and cleaning services
Although these things should not be the only reason why you pick a inpatient rehab, they do not hurt when all things being equal. Many of the amenities make your stay at rehab more comfortable.
Ask the right questions
Once you decide on a few rehabs that you want interview it is important know the right questions to ask. There are only a few really important questions. These are:
- What are the qualifications of your staff?
- What does your facility have to offer me?
- What is your average treatment program like?
- Do you offer long term and short term care?
- Do you treat my drug of addiction?
- What are your success rates?
- Do you offer alternative therapies?
These are all questions you need to ask before making a final choice for rehab. Most people consider their choice of inpatient rehab make the right choice the first time.
